While rehearsing for SXSW 2022 in Dallas, Texas, inspiration struck. Stuck without his usual recording equipment, Ariel ordered a $30 gaming headset to record the first vocals for “Dizzy”. After re-recording them back in his studio with his normal equipment, he liked the $30 vocals so much that they were kept and used in the final take.
Dizzy is a club banger, combining elements of indie, reggaeton, & afro-beat. The track is best listened to after your 3rd drink on a night out after striking out with every single person in the bar. The song describes the feeling of not wanting to go home alone and the last ditch efforts into swooning someone into your arms.
